Control Your Servo’s Speed!
Just plug the Servo Speed Tuner between your servo and your receiver, then adjust the dials!

How It Works
The Servo Speed Tuner has three different dials. Two of these dials, one for clockwise (CW) and the other for counterclockwise (CCW) movement, allow you to adjust the CW speed independent of the CCW speed. The center dial allows you to adjust how quickly the servo ramps up to the desired speed (or ramps down to a stop) as it nears the target position.

Plug-n-Play
No coding or servo programming required. Just set it to your liking and leave it inline with your servo. The small footprint is able to tuck away inside your R/C vehicle or robot chassis and you’re ready to go.

Why is it needed?
Sometimes the speed of a servo is just too much. If you're building a scale model, the realism can go out the window in one quick movement! The Servo Speed Tuner allows you to fine-tune the maximum speed of your servo so that the servo will move to its position slowly and smoothly—even when operated with a switch on a transmitter.

Tech Tips

The Servo Speed Tuner cannot slow down a Multi-Turn Servo.

The Servo Speed Tuner reduces servo speed by limiting the "slew rate" of the signal sent to the servo. When you send a servo to a new position, the servo does its best to reach that position as quickly as possible. The Servo Speed Tuner reads that new position and sends the servo a bunch of tiny steps in-between the previous target and the new target, creating the appearance of one fluid, but slow, movement toward the new position.

Because Multi-Turn Servos rotate extremely far with any change in signal, it takes them longer to reach the target position. Since the time required to reach their target position is greater, the change in slew rate required to slow down a Multi-Turn Servo would need to be vastly different than that required for a conventional servo that is limited to less than one rotation.
