Most food-contact filaments are tested only as a finished spool. Bambu Lab PLA Pure is tested ingredient by ingredient. From base material to pigment—just five ingredients, each one passing EU food-safety certification. A first in the category. Still the only one.

PLA Pure is certified to UL GREENGUARD 2904, the recognized standard for 3D printer emissions. The particles and VOCs it releases measure below the levels of an average kitchen, living room, or office—cleaner than the air you're already breathing.





In a 4-hour continuous print test conducted by an accredited international laboratory, PLA Pure produced lower PM2.5 and PM10 emissions than a third-party PLA under identical conditions.*
