The micro-sized, metal-geared D71MH is part of Hitec's D-Series Servo Line with a longer life Carbon Brushed Motor. The D71MH is a more powerful option than the HS-5065MG. All Hitec D-Series servos have been designed using brand new, cutting edge, custom engineering. Combining industry leading high-resolution, state-of-the-art ultra-response technology with a 32-bit MCU and 12-bit ADC for unprecedented programmability and flexibility, these servos deliver significantly smoother movement. The speedy, powerful line operates on a wide 3.5 ~ 8.4 voltage range, allowing use with any common battery chemistry without the need for adaptors or regulators.
While this servo’s spline is known as M25T in Hitec’s nomenclature, it is the same spline profile we’ve known as B25T for many years.

How Far Will This Servo Rotate?
The answer to this question is partially dependent on what you are using to control the servo.

Stock:
With an Average Radio System:
90°
Your average transmitter and receiver will output a relatively narrow PWM signal range.
Radio System + Travel Tuner:
120°
Adding a Servo Travel Tuner to your radio system setup will allow you to achieve wide PWM signal ranges.
Wide Signal Controllers:
120°
Controllers such as the Servo Commander, Arduinos, and Raspberry Pi servo hats can usually send a wide signal.
Reprogrammed:
Whether you purchase the reprogrammed option or get a servo programmer and do it yourself, a reprogrammed version of this servo will be able to achieve greater travel than it can in stock form.
With an Average Radio System:
131°
Your average transmitter and receiver will output a relatively narrow PWM signal range.
Radio System + Travel Tuner:
175°
Adding a Servo Travel Tuner to your radio system setup will allow you to achieve wide PWM signal ranges.
Wide Signal Controllers:
175°
Controllers such as the Servo Commmander, Arduinos, and Raspberry Pi servo hats can usually send a wide signal.
