Axon MAX 1:3.2 Overdrive Kit

This Overdrive Kit trades some of the Axon MAX’s massive torque for a 3.2x increase in speed and rotation. The Axon MAX has torque to spare for many applications, and this kit puts that headroom to work, making it a strong option for driving an intake, a transfer roller, a turret, or any other mechanism where a higher output speed or increased rotation is more valuable than raw rotational strength.

Mounting and Attachments
The included Pattern Spacer, affixed to the top of the Overdrive Gearbox provides the 16mm square pattern on top of the assembly, allowing it to be fastened directly to channel, brackets, and other goBILDA® components. The 32mm diameter of the Pattern Spacer allows the gearbox to be mounted with a 32mm clamp, which lets you rotate the assembly to whatever orientation works for your layout. The Sonic Hub on the 6mm D-shaft of the gearbox provides the 16mm square pattern to attach a gear, pulley, wheel or other motion component in the goBILDA® ecosystem.

Servo Compatibility
This kit was designed for the Axon MAX, whose high torque is what makes the 1:3.2 overdrive tradeoff worthwhile. While other standard-sized H25T spline servos are physically compatible, few possess enough torque to be viable when driving components from this 1:3.2 gearbox.
