goRAIL® is so much more than a structural component. While at a glance the outer profile is square, the corners follow a 32mm diameter for use with 32mm bearings. The bore of the goRAIL® has a unique combination shape derived from a 14mm diameter circle and a 12mm square. Utilize this bore by sliding flanged bearings in each end of the goRAIL® to support a shaft, or create linear motion by inserting a 12mm square lead screw nut in the bore. The chamfered edges of the slots provide a path for V-Wheels and W-Wheels allowing the goRAIL® to act as a linear motion guide. Use the T-slots down the sides of the goRAIL® or the threaded holes on the ends to attach other goBILDA® components.
Hurricane Nuts and 5-Hole goRAIL® Nuts are perfect for utilizing the T-slots to create countless attachment possibilities using M4 screws. And at both ends of a length of goRAIL®, threaded holes of the goBILDA® 16mm square pattern allow for easy attachment to different structure—such as U-Channel and brackets, as well as other components throughout the build system.
The 32mm overall diameter allows goRAIL® to rotate in 32mm bore bearings, while the 14mm center bore provides for the integration of bearings to support a shaft rotating inside goRAIL®. The center bore is also designed with an additional square profile for a profile-matched lead screw nut to create linear motion possibilities. And on the note of linear motion, the chamfered edges provide races for V-wheels and W-Wheels to run on in linear motion assemblies!
